What areas do your cover?
We cover most parts of London, Surrey, Kent, Sussex and Middlesex.
Do you have insurance?
Yes we do, we are fully insured to work in your home and on your appliance.
Do you belong to a professional body?
We are a family run independent company, established since 2006. We belong to the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), The Association of Approved Oven Cleaners (TAAOC), Which? Trusted Trader and Checkatrade.com.
How long will the cleaning take?
It can take anything from 1 - 4 hours depending on the size of your appliance, but you will be advised when you book in.
My oven has never been cleaned and is in a bad state, do you charge more?
No we don't charge more money than quoted as this would not be fair. But at the same time we will not allocate much more time either. After close inspection we would be very honest with you from the start about the condition of your oven and what to expect from our cleaning process. We would do the very best we could and advise you for better results to have your oven cleaned more frequently.
Will you be using any strong industrial chemicals in my kitchen?
Absolutely not, we only use vitreous enamel safe products in your home, Therefore, there are no strong fumes or odours.
How do you clean the oven roof if there is an element there?
If the oven roof is dirty and covered with an electric heating element, it is not always possible to get fully behind the element on some models without breaking it, we do clean there carefully, but will not risk causing damage.
How often should I have my oven cleaned?
We recommend your oven is deep cleaned at least 6 to 12 months depending on the size of your family, and how often you cook.
How can I pay?
You can pay by cash, debit/credit card or bank transfer. For your convenience all our technicians carry chip and pin machines.
What if I have a problem with my appliance after it is cleaned?
We make final checks of the appliance once it has been cleaned. If within 48 hours of the clean, you find that there is a problem with the appliance after cleaning, then you must first call the office explaining what the problem is and then we will offer advice over the phone or, if necessary, send a fully qualified oven repair engineer to investigate.
Parking charges, Congestion zone and ULEZ charges, will be payable by the customer, if applicable.
Please allow 48 hours notice when cancelling appointments to enable other customers to benefit. Oven Sheen reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee equal to or less than the value for appointments not kept. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
